Roadmap¶
A user-facing view of the upstream roadmap, which remains the source of truth. This page frames each item as what it will let you do.
A richer plugin system¶
- Custom item types — register item models beyond samples, cells and starting materials from a plugin, so your group's device or synthesis batch becomes a first-class record.
- Ingestion hooks — run code on file upload or item creation, e.g. to auto-populate metadata from a filename.
- Webapp components — ship a custom UI alongside a custom block.
Data capture¶
- Unifying remote filesystems and Beholder into one story for automated capture.
- Integration with robotic lab protocols: orchestration, execution and tracking.
Analysis¶
- Rietveld refinement in the XRD block.
- Standalone apps for particular techniques, including multi-item comparisons.
- Microscopy data analysis and visualisation.
- Structured synthesis information.
Platform¶
- Less boilerplate in the block lifecycle: caching and export handled by the base class.
